A Quick Update...

So much has been going on the last few months! I get on periodically and check everyone elses blogs, but haven't updated my own in a while. This isn't a big post...more of a catch up/update. It's been crazy, chaotic, stressful, emotional, up, down, in and out! Enjoy it all...we sure have!

Addy and her friends had a good time with my camera...I need to remember to put it UP! She has had a great time already this summer though! Thank goodness for good friends!

The City of American Fork included the Law Enforcement Officers in their Memorial Day Services this year. It was really neat to be a part of the service and to have the men and women who put their own lives on the line every day be honored. We are all so proud of our dad! Thanks for the great job that you do. We love you!

I love this picture. Check out my niece Mariah with the water gun and then take a good look at my mom...Cracks me up!

After the wonderful Memorial Day Ceremony in American Fork, we had a FABULOUS
BBQ at our house with family. And of course...a HUGE Water fight. I don't think there were any of us who were even sort of dry...good thing we all like each other.

I just LOVE them! Thanks grandma and grandpa for a beautiful and big backyard that is very easily wedding reception ready!

We helped get ready for my cousins wedding! May 27th! We sanded and painted the deck, planted flowers, stripped and painted the sheds, re-stained THE swing, and generally readied the yard for the festivities! It was a lot of work, but tons of fun...and it reminded me of Shawn's and my wedding. Laura, my cousin, was 14 when we got married and it left an impression. Her wedding was identical with the exception of the colors and the food...even the date was so close! I was pretty nostalgic for the weeks leading up to the big day.

Cole got baptised! It was a great day! He was so excited to become a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! Grandpa Steve baptised him and all of his family was there: mom, dad, Jessi, Shawn, brothers and sisters, cousins, Aunts Ruth, Holly, Shenagh, and Shelley, Uncles Greg and Johnsons (I can't remember all their names), Grandmas and Grandpas Ellen, Steve, Peg, Alan, Sheri, and Johnson. All in was a great day!

Addy got a spontaneous new hair cut courtesy of multiple pieces of Trident Layers gum and the traditional Utah spring windstorm...

Holden graduated 6th Grade and Meadow Elementary School! Good-bye Mustangs and Hello...whatever Willow Creek Jr High mascot is...I'm a good mom. :)
